Day 60: The Final Stretch

Norma Bastidas, survivor of sexual violence, abuse and attempted human trafficking, is currently on the last leg of her record-breaking triathlon. She began this journey of 3,700 miles swimming, biking and running through Mexico and the U.S. on March 1 in Cancun. Her goal is to prove that anything is possible and to inspire and encourage people to take a stand against human trafficking here and everywhere.

Be Relentless is a movie and a movement. This project will ultimately fund iEmpathize child protection projects and support the recovery of survivors in both countries.

Norma is only a few days away from reaching the finish line, but she can’t do it alone. She has taken on this challenge and so has iEmpathize. iEmpathize is fully funding the Be Relentless triathlon, documentary and human rights campaign launching in 2015. We are thankful for all the supporters who have sponsored and donated to get us this far. We have raised over two-thirds of our $330,000 budget. Will you help us finish strong and meet the remainder of our need? Share with your friends and family. Be part of the Be Relentless team and help Norma during the final push towards doubling the world’s longest triathlon and ending human trafficking by donating today.

Thank you for being relentless!

“Ultras are tough, both physically and emotionally, but the challenge is only temporary. After I finish an ultra, my life goes back to normal, but survivors have to keep overcoming huge challenges every day of their lives.”
– Norma Bastidas
